Formvar wire. Handbuilt with vulcanized fiberboard, nickel screw poles, two Alnico 5 bar magnets, 42awg heavy Formvar wire, and a wooden bobbin spacer. These pickups are the best of the best! This set is wax potted to reduce microphonics and is also reverse-wound, reverse-polarity (RWRP); this means it is hum canceling when both pickups are engaged. Each pickup is wound over 9,000 times and puts out 7.6k ohm on average. Handbuilt from the highest quality components. Set includes vintage correct neck and bridge.
